TEACHING STYLE: I hope to provide well rounded classes that help each student more deeply connect with their unique breath and movement. Inspired by the teachings of Krishnamacharya and B. K. S. Iyengar, I try to ensure every class has a powerful warm up, balancing postures, inversions, and a slow closing with deeper stretching.
INSPIRED BY: Books and podcasts on nutrition and longevity; art: specifically painting and sketching; and movement combined with music: dancing and yoga flows in particular.

As a wisdom holder of Classical 5 Element Acupuncture, my yin yoga classes are designed to amplify the balance of energy with you, bringing harmony to your whole being – body|mind|spirit. I believe we are not separate from nature and our bodies have innate rhythms that mimic the natural world around us. One way we can support our natural rhythms is by equally nourishing our yin tissues (fascia) and yang tissues (muscles). We are all intrinsically valuable and deserving of taking time to care for ourselves. I’m honored to be a part of your self care practice and hope to meet you on our mats soon.
